The Win Forums: The Win Forums -> The Official Gadget (v5.0) and our OS X Widget

Our official gadget can be added to your Windows Vista sidebar, or Windows 7 desktop and will show the 15 latest posts from our forum - this way you can follow all the action happening on the site and have quick access to only the topics that interest you.



The gadget was designed by Billy (aka Ultimate.User) with all the coding done by UCFknight10 from The Hobby Lounge.

The gadget will now show the time of the last refresh as well as the page number when the scroll buttons are used, as of version 3.1 it will also save the theme selected when you close it, although the theme will not, of course, be kept if the gadget is removed completely - i.e. deleted.

Version 5.0 reflects our changes to the forum and to the new URL, all links will now work as before.

Clicking on the settings icon (the small spanner on the right of the gadget) will display the following settings page:
