Or use VistaGlazz, if you dont feel like mucking around with files.

There is now a section for Vista themes on DeviantArt here: http://browse.devian...util/visstyles/

Place the themes in C:/Windows/Resouces/Themes, Then change the theme as you would usually do.

very nice, to scared that i will destroy my system if i apply them lol (windows blinds and changin boot scrren and stuff made ma last install of xp quite unstable lol

Yeah I tried replacing the .dll but I must have used the wrong one since there are two. I had to do a system restore from the disk to fix it. if anyone knows which version I have to use I have an AMD Opteron Dual Core CPU I know of those .DLL's were for amd 64 and something else

Tried modifying uxtheme.dll but cannot change access rights. Activated invisible administrator and logged on but still had no write priviledges. Do I need to change something to gain access rights to the file and give myself full write access?

I have found this little tool that takes ownership of files, download it and install, then shift + right click and select Take ownership :)

Hello All

A while back i downloaded a theme call Blanc MCE or MCE White..Can`t Remember..but it was basically the MCE theme all in white...does anyone know where i can get this theme...i`ve been looking for it for a long time...thanks


EDIT: This theme is for windows XP..:P
