Why does my steam freezes everytime i logon...!? plz help out...Thankyou

My does it too if you start getting impatient and clicking on a bunch of stuff all at once.

I had this problem too. Steam itself opens, the store loads, then it freezes. If its the same thing you can click the games tab or something before the store finishes loadig and then steam wont have frozen (although if yu go back to store it does freeze).

To fix this i went into the task manager (press ctrl alt del), selected the processes tab, looked for steam, right click on steam.exe and click "Set Affinity..." then uncheck one of the cpus (i unticked CPU1). Now steam seems to work fine.

just incase it had something to do with the way i did it i first opened steam and clicked games s steam wasnt frozen when i did this. Hope this helps and hope you actually see this...
