Hi all!
I have this game called Sacred Underworld and when im tryin to install it this thing pop-up. "An existing installation of "Sacred" or "Sacred Plus" is required"

So yea anyone know how to fix this?

Like most expansion packs - your game requires the original to play because it requires the core files only found in the original game.

But i have the Sacred Plus but i cant install it i dont know why...its said "the selected section is not valid"

Does your hardware meet Sacred Plus's system requirements? Where you able to install it before?

If you answered yes to these 2 questions then you've most likely got a registry issue. This is fairly simple to fix - just go to run>regedit and look under "hey_local_machine">"software" and search for any branches that are named after the designer or manufacturer for that game (sacred, ASCARON Entertainment etc). Once found - delete it and reboot. Then try re-installing Sacred Plus.

However if you never installed Sacred Plus before then you've got an OS/3rd party app issue. In which case things get a little more complicated.

yea i did installed this but it was a demo not a fully game.

Well there you have it. You have to go out and buy the full game - install it first - then Sacred Underworld.

You can't just install demo's and then hope the expansion will work on top because then everyone would be doing that and the developers wouldn't make much money from the original . Besides - demos don't have all the necessary files - they usually just contain a beta version of the rendering engine and some levels.
