Since I installed my Xtrememusic sound card 2 days ago, whenever I switch the monitor off only but leaving the PC still running, and when I switched it back on again after a few hours or more, my PC hangs, can't click or do anything at all. This has happened for more than 5 times. Sometimes, I'm still able to move the mouse cursor only but sometimes no. Only way out is to restart..

uninstall the driver and try it again, if it happens again it is not caused by the soundcard driver. If it is from the sound card driver, maybe reinstalling the driver could solve the issue.

well, there is one way out which is wait out the hang. my PC comes back to life after waiting for a few minutes..
