I've seen a thread or two on here on how to fix the epic problem in EA games, in this case Battlefield 2142, where punkbuster kicks you out of the server.

Whenever I join a server, as soon as I load in it kicks me out with a single word, "PunkBuster".

Now I know all the typical fixes:
1. I've set compatibility to run as administrator (and I AM administrator)
2. I've run pbsetup.exe many times to update, even every time I am about to play battlefield
3. I've run pbsvc.exe (spelling) to remove and reinstall punkbuster without fail.
4. I've got pnkbstrA.exe and pnkbstrB.exe allowed through my firewall.
5. I've set pbsetup.exe compatibility to administrator and run it
6. I've set pnkbstrA and pnkbstrB compatibility to adminstrator


I am at a loss for what to do. Nothing is working, it is, without fail, kicking me from every single game for Punkbuster. Can ANYONE help, I have not found anyone with this problem yet.. Seeing as all these steps work for everyone else!

I am running windows vista ultimate!
