[PC]NFS underground 2 Problem Rate Topic: -----

Hi,

I am facing Problem NFS underground 2

While playing it gives error and shuts down "Speed2 exe has some errors" while on the other hand NFS 1 works perfectly file....

Please guide...

I had this problem with Carbon, just run the game as an administator.

If this doesn't work you may want to post your specs so others can find out a solution more quickly.

Yes I am runing the same as a ADMIN. What kind of specs do you think I should post so that I can have a solution...as I need that very badly....

Well you could post CPU, Graphic Card, RAM, and that should be the necesarry I think, and Sound Card too! (It is a possiblity!)

Well then try to run the game in a different compability mode. Like if the game worked in another version of Windows, like Xp Proffesional, you should make the game run in that compability mode.

Yes it was same error.....after that I changed one more setting...I make it compatable with XP service pack1

I believe EA has released a vista patch for this game :unsure:
Otherwise, run in compatibility mode (XP). I have this game as well, I never actually had to install this patch when I was using vista...

Thanks, checking it right now....and I have done like that only...I am running the game in compatability mode.....

See with me, whats happening is....I played the game whole day...and it worked fine....but now during night.....when I am palying it has started giving me the error.....

Downloading the patch..lets see....

Yeah, my thought was that you may have some problems with the patching. Try to reinstall the game clean, then play it. Then try to patch again.

Maybe hardware conflicts with Vista? :s

I suggest that you wait for SP1. Then reinstall the game again, and see if it works :D

I had Your problem too... 2 years ago...
I solved it.
I think your CPU is "Core 2 dou" isn't it... ?
All right. Do these in order:


1 Run Speed2.exe
2 press Window key Immediately.
3 press Ctrl + Alt + Delete:
I mean go to Task Manager.
4 go to Processes
5 Find Speed2
6 do RightClick on it. go to lastone "Set Affinity... ''.
7 Uncheck one of them. "CPU 0" or "CPU 1"
8 If you use of Core4 Quad. You should Uncheck 3 of them.
9 close Task manager & go to Game
Have FUN... ;)

Good day. I'm sorry but my english isn't well... :(
I have a problem with NFS Underground 2 and Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. Every time when I run game, I must remap all keys, because all of them resets to default. It's normal??

PS. In NFS Underground I have same problem.
