for awhile i would fall under
ADSL - 8001k or faster

cause i got 10mbit download for like a week through my aDSL connection... that was when i had it

in Big Countries (eg: America) the prices are not so big

Here in Greece the prices are over-rated so you cant have a big connection like t3 .... it is also hard to find in net cafes

well, no way i can answer that !

i use :
  • ADSL over WiFi 802.11b from a friend at 2.5 km - free > 384kbit :(
  • ADSL @ work > 512kbit at the office + 1mbit personal ! + 2mbit ( computer room i administrate )
  • WiMAX @ buddie - client internet coffee shop > 4 mbit UP - 4 mbit DOWN !
etc etc

Damit!....I wish the companys where not so selfish and alllow a little competion....By that I mean: there is Comcast in my Area and SBC/AT&T Yahoo! DSL. Why can't they add more than just two companys in my area to provide internet....

at my house currently = 3mbps down 256kb up
(hopefully soon it'll be 1.5mbps down and up)

at my friend across the street (wi-fi) 256k up down

what im on now at another friends 1.5mbps 768kbps

iv got up 2 8mb im using homechoice so sometimes i get 6mb or sometimes i get 5mb depends :)

Wow, didn't ever realize how many people use DSL. I use cable, and unfortunately a wireless card. I plan on switching to an ethernet wire within the next few days.

ADSL 2+ is actually available in Australia, from Internode, so it is possible. :)
