take away any star player from any team and someone else wont look as good. Favre has had to throw plenty this season and has done so well. I'm sure if Tom brady or Payton Manning, Breeze played for the Lions, they wouldn't be nearly as good either right? The fact is you just hate favre, or at least are unwilling to admit that he is still a good QB. Your hatred blinds you. Maybe its because your a Jets fan, (assuming based on your pic) and are bitter that he got hurt and didn't bail out your sorry team. Whatever the case, I am a Packer fan, but I can at least admit facts and see beyond my bias.

The Jets are sorry? Dude, the Packers lost to the Bucs.

I know the pack sucks this year...in fact I predicted this before the season started. I am a realist and base my opinions not on my bias, but the facts on the ground.

well... my prediction was close. packers were bad without farve, jets almost made playoffs. Thompson is still around though. This season will bring the return of Farve to the NFL, landing with the Vikings. My next prediction is that packers will be 8-8 this year, the Vikings will make the NFC championship, and it will be a coin toss if they make the Superbowl. Brett Farve will prove once again that not only can he fill seats... but he can still play and make an average team much better. After the 2009 season, pressure will be put on Thompson to find a replacement for Rogers, who is average at best. I think there will also be pressure to finally get rid of the managment of the packers after blowing off Farve only to have him come back and kick their butts in both games in the NFC north.

I am a packer fan and it continues to be a sad time for the Pack, as the blunders continue.

well the pack has done better than I expected as has Rogers, so on that I was wrong, and am happy as can be that I was. I was right about Farve though, He is still a top tier QB. Rogers is definately proving to be a good replacement. I'm not sure I'm convinced he is better than Brett, but if his play continues to be good and improve, I am all on board with Rogers. I think the packers will win Sunday against Arizona, but will be beaten again by Vikings at the metrodome. I pick the Vikings against the Colts for the Superbowl with the Vikings to win it in an upset. I hope I'm wrong about this prediction too, as I would love to see my packers go to and win the superbowl.

Also, I still think Thompson and McCarthy are idiots and are holding the team back. They screwed up big on the O line, but have done good with the defense. Hopefully they have learned and will correct the mistakes. They do need more dicipline on the team, too many penalties, which in my opinion is a coaching issue.

I still dont think the jets are that good, but clearly, they are in the AFC Championship, so I guess I stand corrected. Congrats to Jets fans, wish my packers were still in it (NFC of course). The Jets are definately the surprise team this year, so good for them. Vikings and Farve so far have done what I expected, and I think the Vikes will beat the Saints and go up against the Colts in the Superbowl.
