Of course we all have different views on what a browser should be like, that's why there's so much competition out there. But from my experience, IE8 fails at standards, is a bit slower than other browsers and misses some important features, including the extensions you can get on Firefox. I also don't like the feel of it sorry, I just don't, it feels old.

Of course I'm not trying to rant on IE or anything, IE8 is way better than IE7, but not perfect, in my opinion. Many people agree with me, that's why they change and competition goes on. ;)

Just wanted to say I switched to Chrome a few days ago when 3.0 came out, and I'm not coming back to Firefox anytime soon. Apart from ad blocking, which I miss, it's a pretty nice and full-featured browser and seriously, it's so fast.

Firefox is my favorite. It has the best Javascript engine. That's what I need.

Chrome should have been added to the list. Its quite light and fast.

Ahhhh... as you go through the pages of this thread, more and more people are going for Chrome :) Come on, its the fastest browser and now its got add-ons! Good to see that AOL Netscape has gotten no votes :) I think that the only reason IE has the largest following at the moment is because its normally supplied as the default browser with new PCs...
