I use FireFox, and will never be going back to IE. ;)

BTW, why does it say "GarbageFox... oh, I mean FireFox"? who ever thought FireFox was garbage?

am running Minefield 3.0a1 (yes its a very early version at the mo) but so far its rendering far faster than IE/FF and hasnt caused me any problems - even with traditionally difficult sites like my banks and backoffice systems... :) 64 bit too .. oh yeh for those not in the know - its basically a first look at next version of FireFox

yummmy, shame about the lamer name :(

I could use Opera or IE, but they both do not offer the sheer customization options that Firefox presents through extensions, and so I choose Firefox.

I have and sometimes use together, IE7, Opera 9.20 and Gran Paradiso 3 Alpha.

Never usually run Beta software, let alone Alpha, but with what will become Firefox 3, willing to risk it.

Voted 'other' because Gran Paradiso is NOT YET FF3.

As my sig. below lists, it's my default system browser ..
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4) Gecko/20070427 GranParadiso/3.0a4 Attached Image

PS. I'm keeping the 'blue world' icon too, even if they do the final release with old Firefox one!!!!!!!

I like its RSS feedreader, plus, its a bitTorrent client and it has loads of widgets
And now it has Speed dial for your favourite 9 sites.

Is there a point to this poll? If it's simply a social thing it would've been better posted in the Polls section, surely? And if there's a desire to learn something from the results there hasn't been any indication what.

I voted IE7 nevertheless, and I'd like to comment why, in an attempt to ensure that something meaningful can come from this.

IE7, used in Vista and with UAC left enabled, is quite simply the most 'secure' web browser currently on offer. It's not only 'better' than the rest in that regard - it's head and shoulders above the rest!

Many people moved to Firefox or Opera because IE6/7 and Windows XP was damned near an open door for spyware/malware intruders. Now that the door has been shut, and emphatically so, there's no real 'need' left to source an alternative, and surely only the diehards will cling to a different browser. But habits die hard indeed.

I voted for Mozilla Firefox,

Because for me, its faster and easier to use. I don't 'not-use' IE7/6 because of security reasons, but more so because of personal preference.

I moved to Firefox after trouble with like was said, the old IE under XP.I have tried IE in Vista, and it seems much improved, but because I have used Firefox so long, I simply prefer it.

I voted for Firefox for the following reasons:

-I am emotionly bonded to it.
-The downlad window is good if you don't want loads of windows hogging the taskbar.
-Its really customizable (its got loads of skins and cool toolbars that can even control iTunes etc...)
-Its good to preview websites you're making with Dreamweaver (IE is a nightmare!!).
-The web search bar comes up with suggestions (with Google anyway).
-You can clear private data when you exit automaticly no questions asked.
-The Firefox name and logo are awesome.
-Its a hell of alot quicker at loading pages.
-Its got every security feature the current IE has.

If IE had all this I might just consider using it. Maybe.
I tried Opera for a few weeks... it was o.k... nothing special. BTW you should add it to the poll.
I know nothing about Netscape. Is it good?

Thats my opinion. ;)

EDIT: I agree with Catweazle, this would've been better posted in the Polls section.

Well there is already a favorite web browser topic found here

but since this is on what one do you use I'm just gonna leave it open, but move it over to the poll station thread ;)
