Hello everyone, I have been playing CoD4 for a few months now and I'm still not tired of it!

Sadly since I have vista multiplayer does not work on punkbuster servers. It said something that i was missing some B package or something like that. I came on here to try to fix it but none of the suggestions work (including PBsetup). Finally I just said screw it and played on non punkbuster servers lol.
The game still works beautifully and even one of my friends made his own server.

Anyway the main question (besides other suggestions on how to fix the "punkbuster hates vista" problem) is that will there be any new multiplayer maps for the PC version?

I heard that 360 and PS3 have new maps coming out or already have them out, but nothing about the PC version.
Any information will be great!

well the pc map pack will be out soon, hopefully this month, but theres A LOT of custom maps that u can download, and they sometimes have a lot of people on certain servers. my fav custom map is one where u fight at the hight of a mouse in a kitchen, quite cool.

and ur pb problem, im running vista 32bit and have had no problems w/ pb, so i cant really offer help there

EDIT: Oops, didn't read the post properly anyway try running the game as admin. I had the exact same problem in XP, so if that doesn't work try what I did. I think I unistalled CoD4 and also removed registry keys related to CoD4, but if you don't want to mess with the registry, there are some programs that do it for you, such as this:

then reinstall the game.

Thanks for the sites! hmm maybe one day ill try to make my own map.
For the PB problem i tried running as admin. It still didn't work sadly.

Try doing what it says in this link. I have had to do this a few times. Although all of them were on WinXp. Hope this works for you.
