I am trying to make a workgroup at home, I have XP Pro (SP2) on one machine and Vista Home Ultimate (SP1), they can both see the router with a Ping, but they cannot ping each other through the router, the router is a Netgear wireless router. Any suggestions??

Have you tried running the network setup wizard on the XP machine and create a floppy for the Vista?
