Now, onto business. To celebrate this milestone, we're giving away an Xbox 360, a game of the user's choice, and more. We hope everyone will have a lot of fun with this competition, and hope to see some creative entries.
To Enter:
To enter, simply write a detailed review of any currently available Microsoft hardware product, or any product that carries the "Vista Capable" or "Designed for Windows Vista" stickers.
An example of the type of review we're looking for can be found at a popular reviews site, Hexus.net - their reviews are well written, clear, concise, and has plenty of good quality photographs showcasing the product. For example: http://www.hexus.net....php?item=10543 - obviously we don't want a 10 page review, but a review at least the length of this topic should be fine.
Once that's done, email your entries to contest@thevistaforums.com. Be sure to send them from the same email address that your forum account is registered with. This is to keep the competition fair and have only one entry per person. Duplicate accounts or entires will automaticially disqualify you from winning (however, you may submit revisons to your review if you like).
Prizes:
1st Prize: One Xbox 360 Elite console, one game up to the value of $65 (USA), £40 (UK), or $100 (AUS), and the Xbox 360 HDDVD Drive addon*.
2nd Prize: One copy of both WindowBlinds 6 and DeskScapes - big thanks to Island Dog and Stardock for making this possible!
3rd Prize: Gift voucher up to the value of $50 for Amazon US, or £25 for Amazon UK**.
Competiton Length:
The competition is open from right now, up until the 31st of July, 2008. Prizes will be sent to you within one (1) month of us deciding the winner (a decision will be made by the 5th of August, 2008).
Competition Update:
I have decided to open up the competition worldwide so anyone may participate; however if you are not listed on the allowed countries list, unfortunately you can only win 2nd and 3rd prizes.
This means if you live outside of UK, US, Australia, New Zealand and Canada you can enter to win 2nd and 3rd prizes

Rules of Entry:
- The contest is open worldwide; however only residents of United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand can win the Xbox 360; residents of other countries are limited to winning 2nd and 3rd prize. Entrants must be of the age of majority in the home country and have a valid thevistaforums.com forum account. Identification must be produced on request. Employees of iEntry Inc., its contest sponsor (staff of TheVistaForums.com), advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
- The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.

*I originally purchased the HDDVD drive for my own use however I never managed to get it working with my actual PC, so, I'm offering it as a prize with the console. It still works perfectly well with the 360 for HDDVD playback, and it's pretty much brand new, however, it has been opened by myself.
**Due to Amazon not having an Australian-based store, if you're in Australia and you win, you can choose between an Amazon US or UK voucher, or a voucher for JB HiFi, David Jones, or Myer.
