I just reformatted my hard drive I an alienware area 51 with an AMD Turion 64 2.4 ghz processor
2GB of ram and a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7700. After the Reformat My frame rates on my games only namely WoW dropped by about 30 FPS. Previously i was running around 40 fps on average and now it has dropped to 8 regardless of where I am or what I am doing. I have noticed it with other games but not as severely as with WoW. I checked my device manager to make sure all my drives where installed and installed correctly and nothing seemed to be out of place there. Any suggestions on why my frame rates dropped so much or how to fix the problem?

May be just a simple case of updating your NVIDIA drivers. Best to download and install the latest drivers from their website.

Thanks I'll try this as soon as I get back home. At school right now. I'll let you know if that solves the problem.
