Hi! I'm new to this forum, but it's about time I go here seeing as how much trouble vista can be

I just bought and installed Command and Conquer 3 on Vista. Everything was going fine, it finished installing and booted up, and it played the cinematics without any trouble. The game map loaded, but right when I click play, the game closed, and I got that far too familiar message in the problem report:

This problem was caused by Windows, which was created by Microsoft Corporation.

I tried booting it up a few more times to see if I could find any more specifics for the problem, but that's the best I can do. Does anyone know how to get my game running?

Also, here's the requirements for the game if it will help, but I'm pretty positive I'm not lacking in anything:

56.6 Kbps or better modem for 1v1 online play
Broadband connection for online play with 3 or more players
DirectX 9.0c or above.

Nvidia GeForce2 or equivalent video card with 32 MB RAM
