Is awesome. Playing this is very nostalgic for anyone who used to play this 10 years ago.

Quake Live is pretty much Quake 3 Arena packages as a browser-based game. Man... so many good games were based off the Quake3 engine. I need to play those as well...

They are in beta right now so free to sign up and free to play: http://www.quakelive.com

I will get it now, I was going to register when it was released, but I completely forgot.

The only downside is the lack of full screen. You have to play in a small browser screen (unless I missed some button).

Which you did. It's in the settings on the homepage.

I joined when it was first released to the public. Great fun and I got an achievement for being one of the first. :P

All it needs is a Mac/Linux compatible plugin.

You can enable full screen.

This game was fun! I like fast paced FPS games.

You were a deprived child! Quake 3 Arena was awesome, and a lot of its mods were great too.

I started playing this then shortly after that I started play Fallout 3. Now I'm hooked on Fallout 3... I hope they don't charge for it once QuakeLive hits 1.0 cause I might be playing Fallout 3 for that long.
