I don't know about you folks, but I am sure looking forward to a sequel of the amazing game; Assassin's Creed.

Now, is there a better way to show off the game on E3 than to give the fans a debut trailer and a gameplay demo?

I think not.

Here is the debut trailer:

And the gameplay demo:

Enjoy!

The first game was disappointing for me, hopefully this one will be better.

I liked the first game, but it was just severely lacking in creativity. Plus, once you're done, you're done. I am really looking forward to AC2, but I may rent before I buy.

*edit* Just watched the gameplay video, amazing. So many things I saw in there that I wished the first one had, like being able to grab guards on towers and throw them over the edge, killing a guard where you were sitting, the 'flying daemon,' swimming, the jump onto a guard assassination, dual-assassinations, being able to grab other weapons, and the lack of 3 hours of dialogue when killing a target.

I liked the first game, except for doing the same missions over and over again. I liked the assassinations and the dialogue which came right after to create twists in the story.

I really want to get my hands on this game on launch day, more than Uncharted 2 to be honest.

A thing a liked about the gameplay demo was Ezio's voice; it didn't sound like perfect american like in Assassin's Creed I.

(Y) If I'm supposed to believe that he's in Italy, then I want an Italian accent, which Ezio has.

And the dialogues do add to the game experience, but give the player a chance to skip if they want to. The first one just had too many cut-scenes.

I think that there were enough cutscenes, just that they were too long. It could have been shortened down at certain points, but I couldn't care less about that. I agree that players should have the option to skip if they are simply not interested.

I wish for more "into the game" cutscenes, where you are not mostly standing still and can change the view by the press of a button. Put a director on the job and create viewpoints and cutscenes where you have to watch, not have the option the move or change the view yourself.

The first one was great, although, it got repetitive. The great thing about the sequel is that they will be adding side missions and also free-range mode, like Grand Theft Auto.

I keep hearing how good the first one was, but for some reason every time I go to the game store, I don't pick it up. I look at it every time, and it's set in an era I like for gaming, I just never buy it. . .

Yes it is. Already beat ACII. Not because it's necessarily short, but I couldn't put the controller down.

Same, bought it the day before the EU release (regular customer @ store == win :P) and finished it 5 days later. I skipped school 2 of those days, the first game ever that got me to do that :P

Hahaha nice. I was on winter break fortunately... So I put in an average of 5-8 hours a day into it. First game that I've done that with in a long time.

This game was well worth the money, and I can see myself playing it again. It is a great gaming experience, and the story is well thought and made. I simply could not put the controller down as I was thirsting for answers, because all there is to begin with, is questions.

It's a must buy.
