- Deactived old unused plugins, upgraded current ones, and upgraded WordPress to the latest version.
- Tweaked the Feedburner feed settings a bit.
- Removed podPress, and broke all the embedded episodes (the episodes are "embedded" into each post so that programs such as iTunes can find and download the new content. Without this, it wouldn't work very well).
- Added another podcasting plugin called...Podcasting.
- Fixed all the episodes again.
- Installed K2. Didn't work properly. Left it like it was.
- Decided not to use "Podcasting", so uninstalled it. And broke all the embedded episodes again.
- Used plain old hyperlinks for the episodes, and set Feedburner to deal with the episode embedding.
- Tidied up the Plugins folder and deleted some old unused themes.
- Uploaded some of the plugins that I use on my blog. All seemed to work pretty well. Thankfully.
- Reuploaded K2 from scratch. Still didn't work.
- Searched for an embedded flash-based MP3 player for playing back episodes. Found one. Didn't work. Uninstalled it. Found another. Didn't work either. Uninstalled that too. Gave up (for now).
- Googled a bit. Found out that the problem happened on some installs of the latest version of WordPress.
- Installed latest K2 nightly version. Success! It worked.
- Uploaded and activated Upstream Tokyo style for K2.
In the end, I think it looks a lot nicer now. More bright and cheery. You guys like it?
