Awesome, third thread for this information!

And, posted in the Support section, instead of News, where it belongs.

Actually it's posted in "Internet, Networking, Browsers & Security" because it's a security suite, there is no section for this in the News forums, if you want to create one then be my guest.

Good to know they quickly hit final. Been using it since the first private beta, not leaked versions. :P

My experience tells me you shouldn't use more than one antivirus program on one Windows install. It could cause conflicts, especially on the real time protection.

Anyone know if you can make this work on Server 03 & 08?

I have a number of virtual servers running using my Technet licenses but have never bother purchasing anti-virus for them because of the cost.

While it's not technically "supported", if it's an MSI it should be easy to edit the installer and be easily up and running, even though I haven't tried myself. If you want a simple solution try avast! Home Edition which is free and supported.

I had an odd problem, where MSE caused every icon to be 'shifted' by 2 places. FOR example, the "Libraries" icon was on the Recycle Bin, the Computer was on Control Panel etc etc etc ... when I uninstalled MSE, they all went back to normal. It's an ok program, but, it's not fully finalized. It was far too easy for it to be 'shut down' with out my consent. NIS10 works awesome, is light, and doesn't shut down with out MY permission.

How did you get the free version to run on a server OS - the installer file blocks it?
