CLICK HERE TO VIEW IMAGE, NECESSARY TO UNDERSTAND

As you can see here, my Snake Gadget is blank and has a small x in the upper left-hand corner. I'm not sure, but I think this gadget may rely on adobe flash.

I can't seem to fix the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the gadget, uninstalled and reinstalled my flash, and nothing has worked. Is a gadget looking like this common? All of my other gadgets work fine.

So am I wondering if someone can diagnose the problem and tell me how to fix it, and also maybe tell me if this particular gadget does rely on me having flash in any way, as I don't see why it should, but it might.

It was working fine before, but recently, it has been acting up. If anyone wants more information I will be happy to go into greater detail.

edit that. I did a little search and come up with few things first of all you need shockwave/adobe flash make sure its fully updated! second of all got to this.

C:\Users\*YOUR NAME*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\snake.gadget

is it there any files deleted? (Remember those are hidden files! open them by press ALT top menu bar>tools> folder options>top tab VIEW>show hidden folders)

or go to this:

C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

you will not find it here cause i did not. and also clearly normally that X means either it has been deleted moved renamed or the link is incorrect.

hope i helped.
