First of all. Let me make clear that things like DriverMax are a swindle and I will not buy them. I would really like to know a good way to update my drivers without having to pay a single dime for it. Also, my ATI Radeon HD 4850's drivers are having trouble updating, and I can't figure out why. My specs are as follows:

Gateway FX 6800-01e
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
ATI Radeon HD 4850
Intel Core I7 920 (4 cores x 2.66 GHz)
Intel X56 chipset
Realtek 7.1-enabled motherboard sound card
DVD+-RW drive

I have contacted customer support, but they have not reached me back. Also I've noticed some games running slower than they should.

Well, you can usually update your ATI drivers by going to their website. What problem are you exactly having?

The best way to update drivers is just to go to the hardware manufacturer's website and download them from there. Most of them are free. What type of frames are you getting in-game? How much RAM do you currently have?
