Ok so right i was on the computer until the monitor made some strange lines and then said "Monitior going to sleep" ok so it restarted it self dont no why...i was confused. Ok then when it said "microsoft copration" and was loading it crashed again and restarted then i got this message saying "windows was unable to start" so it gave me an option to repair it so i did.

ok it has now tooken over an hour and is still reparing ( this is my laptop). i think my computer has either a deadly virus or is being hacked. as my preivious topics suggested about malware, i now wanna change my computer internet seetings like IP and all cause i think sites are downlaod Zbot to my computer as my norton suggested!

what can i do?

Thanks
Asim

Well, I think it's unlikely your computer has been hacked, considering the problem didn't go away when you rebooted. So that could mean a lot of things: overheating or your hard drive has suddenly died. Let it cool down for a while and try booting it up again. :)

You might also try running a boot time virus scan, just in case. If you don't have AV software that accomplishes this you can get a util here.

Boot off some disk, like an Ubuntu live CD. See if you can access your HDD from there.

Well, if you can get past the BIOS you can boot, which apparently you can.
