Running vista home premium with 4 GB memory and lots of disk space available. Want to copy-paste from email or web to Word 2003. This used to work with any web browser (Foxfire, IE, Opera) and with Thunderbird email, but has stopped. Specifically, ctrl-A, ctrl-C (or Edit>copy) on the material to be copied and ctrl-V (or Edit>paste) into a blank doc in Word does nothing now. However, I can paste into the MS Works word processor OK. Copying from one Word doc to another Word doc works fine and copy-pasting within Thunderbird works fine.
Is this a Vista problem or a Word problem? How to fix it? Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. Have you installed anything recently that could be messing up with your system? Sounds like a word problem to be honest but I don't really know what might be causing it.

Rather than using the keyboard shortcuts, highlight the text and copy it then.
