Hello,

I am trying to download the above software (which is only a few mb) in Real Player in order to be able to download YouTube videos. However,
it just starts up and does not seem to be progressing anywhere. A good while later it is still the same. It states you can Pause the
operation if you have to disconnect from the Internet but I cannot do this as there is no mouse pointer only that rotating circle on
screen. :w00t: It is only a few megabytes and I have broadband at 3mb so it should download quickly. System is Win Vista Home Premium (64bt)
Any help out there ? :-/

I'd avoid real player anyway - it's pain - I use this alternative for the reasons described on the page:

Another alternative, if you use firefox is to use the firefox addon for downloading youtube vids (and others):

I don't understand why anyone would want to use Real Player for Quick Time files when Quick Time is the default player for them. If they are rmvp files or flv, you can use VLC to play them. but you'll need downloadhelper to get them first. There's a converter plugin but if you don't buy it, it watermarks every video with the DWHelper icon.
