Hey, so my friend, he made a password. But then he forgot it. And now he's locked out of his computer. He's the only user on it. And uh yeah. He doesn't have internet either. He's not really in a good position. I know you can use disks to reset it, but how's he suppoesed to get the iso? Also, he doesn't have any spare disks, as far as he knows. I would halp him out, but he's a long ways away. Isn't there a hidden default admin account? Or something like that, I thought there was.
Anyway, thanks.

Very simple. Your friend needs to download and burn the password reset disk on a different computer. Problem solved.

Surely there is a library or a 'net cafe or something around? If he needs something from the internet, where does your friend go?

Nvm, he booted into safemode, went to the default admin account, got rid of the password on the other account. Then bam.

If he knew the password of the admin account, how could he have been 'locked out'?

He was referring to the admin account which didn't have a password, you know, the hidden one not everyone knows about. :)
