wd5000aajs and wd10eads that is ext that going bad i need to find replacemets for them. the drive 500gb and the other eiather 1.0tb or 1.5 tb drive and is a green drive. suggestions?
what happanes is both when the system is rstart or restarted is not seen, but maunally turn them off and on it will be picked up.

I didn't really understand your question very well, but you should back up the disk you're replacing and get another one with the same size, should be 2.5'' I think. Just unplug the case, open it and replace the drives, it should be an easy process.

From the sounds of it it your drives are just not powering off properly. But if you do need new drives yeah, as amon said it should be a easy process, just as lon as you get drives of the same size and adapter. (SATA, IDE, SCSI ect...)

sorry if bnot making a hole lot sence today. i nees to replace the encloseur not the drive. both throws drives use the same type enclosure and both are not powering up right. i listed the drive models euch might have miss wrote wd10eads and wd5000aajs for referance. one is 500gb and the other 1tb or maybe 1.5tb drives. the 1-1.5 is a green drive should that make any difference.

They're both 3.5'' so an enclosure like this one. Should work as expected, good luck.
