Me want. Now. Posted Image

Number 1 was actually one of greatest short games ever. If the sequel can pull it off again, then Valve will be god.

Following its announcement details surrounding Portal 2 were a little scarce. Now a few more have trickled out. It’s being reported that Portal 2 will have co-op multiplayer. A shop listing also confirms the sequel to be a full-priced standalone release.

Portal 2 was announced as coming to stores this holiday season. But to be more specific U.S online store Gamestop.com pre-orders will ship from October 26th 2010. The $49.99 price listing confirms that it’ll be it’s own game this time round, as opposed to being bundled with others, like it did as part of The Orange Box.

GameInformer also reveals it’ll feature cop-op multiplayer with a campaign revolving around to new playable characters, where players must fuse their grey matter to solve the game’s puzzles. Computer companion GLaDOS also makes a return. GameInformer, who appears to have an exclusive on the title (see magazine cover shot above) promise to reveal more soon, so keep an eye out.

As awesome as Portal is, for $49.99, I hope it is a little longer, lol.
