Are you kidding? That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. iTunes is it's own breed of DRM infection! Offering a DRM-free version to premium paying customers is most definitely NOT an attempt to "eliminate DRM from digital media"

ALL DRM is horrible... it doesn't matter whether it's iTunes or WMP or Zune Marketplace.

I prefer emusic... no DRM, no hassle, just good music.

I personally prefer the 37 feet of shelf space I have filled with legally purchased CDS, and the kick-arse home entertainment system I play them on.

I already own like 3000 CD's and unfortunately I am running out of room on my condo for it!

Get a house. I have a huge living area, and a 40x30 steel shed out back for extra storage space as well!
